For prewireds with humbuckers, we offer Coil Splitting wiring in a variety of ways and engagement types. Coil Splitting (aka Coil Tapping) essentially provides options to split humbucker performance to be more like a single coil to increase your playing variation and sound.
Variable/Gradual Coil Split provides coil splitting via pot control (1 per pickup - up to 3) with the effect amount controlled by pot knob rotation with 0 being full split/single coil and 10 being no split/full humbucker.
Series Parallel wiring upgrade changes how your 4-wire humbucker coils work together, maintaining humbucker performance while providing alternative sound and playing options.
Wiring Upgrades are available and offer a variety of performance-enhancing capabilities.
Blend Pots are small, dime-sized tone replacement pots that utilize a standard pot hole / position and can help blend the volume from different pickups, providing additional volume balance control and response to manipulation.
Bridge Tone Upgrades use a tone pot mod to allow your neck tone control to also control the bridge tone.
From master kill switches to individual pickup kill switches in mini toggle or momentary arcade button styles, a variety of options are available to interrupt or cut signal to your amp for individual pickups or all pickups in a build simultaneously.
A Treble Bleed volume pot wiring modifier allows volume roll with significantly less high frequency loss, subtly allowing a more constant tone throughout the volume range. This mod helps address loss of high-end signal and dark muddiness sometimes experienced in the lower range, thus keeping more of your highs while maintaining volume adjustability.
A variety of tone cap styles and values are available to meet your preferences.
Vintage cloth wiring upgrades to cloth covered wiring may allow for vintage authenticity or enhanced signal performance. Other wire style enhancements are also available.
For Phasing options, we offer your choice of four-wire humbucker or two-wire single coil phasing via mini switch or pot control for in-phase and out-of-phase performance.
Onboard Effects are replacement control pots designed to provide a variety of performance effects including boosters, drivers, shapers, controllers, chorus and more. Passive and active styles including BCU (Band Control Unit), Chorus Deluxe, EXP (Expand to Peak), QDD, Onboard Distortion, QTB, Booster, TBX, Fender Control, VTC, Vintage Tube Overdrive, EX3, & VTB are available.
Most builds offer the option to add a jack in a variety of styles including standard mono, stereo, Switchcraft, barrel and Pure Tone styles. Installation may require that you unsolder the connections, feed your jack wiring through your channel and then resolder. Keep notes prior to unsoldering if you want a reference to reconnect the jack properly. Jacks work with standard cables only and jack sockets accept standard ¼” plugs.
Some body cavities or systems may not be compatible with options available. You are solely responsible for your selections. We don’t judge suitability as we don’t know the nature of your build. Typically, we will not confirm with you prior to production - exercise discretion and ask any questions before finalizing your cart so you can be sure of your choices prior to purchase.
We offer the option to add a matching trem cover to your guard so that the pickguard and cover will be cut from the same material sheet for the closest possible color match.
Tech work may vary in accordance with personal style or preference. Any substitutions made will be equivalent or upgraded versions of your selections.
