General Pickup Information
String / Pole Spacing
Almost all of our pickups are standard spaced. For Humbuckers, bridge pickups are spaced at 52mm and neck pickups at 50mm. For Strat / Single Coil styles, all three positions are spaced at 52mm. If you have string spacing concerns, consider a rail style or oversized "phat" pole styling for more forgiving coverage options. Please check measurements carefully to ensure a product will work for your needs.
Potting
Standard pickups are wax potted for squeal reduction / avoidance. Active pickups are epoxy sealed for noise-free performance. Note that noise and interference can come from sources other than your pickup.
Sizing
Pickups are standard sized and are designed to work with standard rout sizing.
Humbucker Rout Sizes
Uncovered standard humbuckers will typically work with rounded-corner style pickup routs. Covered humbuckers add ~1mm to measurements are require squared-corner style pickup routs. Active, cased, or other non-standard humbucker sizes will typically work with squared-corner style pickup routs. Check your measurements carefully to ensure proper fitment.
