Dragonfire 7 String Crusader pickups feature oversized hex-style poles and a total of three ceramic bar magnets in each pickup for a wide, triple effect magnetic field providing full coverage and excellent hot wound responsiveness. This design allows these high-output humbuckers to excel in all things Rock and Metal. Also great for Hardcore, Punk and much more, these dynamic Seven String Crusaders cut through the mix with superb sound versatility and presence. Explore your play with the Crusader’s dual in-line regulating hex cap style polepieces. Paired with the specialized magnet style featured in these humbuckers, this pole style gives off a heavy duty feel and look as well as solid performance. With enhanced functionality and response for bends and pulls, you can capture more nuance and follow-through versus standard magnet and pole style combinations.

The included pickup wire color codes will let you know the hot, ground, and coil split wire colors for these 4-wire pickups. Basic instructions for a sample standard installation are included. Due to the vast and varied nature of possible components and set-up styles, we do not provide specific information or diagrams for installation. You should be able to use the basic information we provide to match up with any diagram or instructions you choose to use.

These humbuckers are 4-wire so you can coil-split as well as add series-parallel or phase reverse functionality for expanded wiring and playing options (instructions not included). If you’d like to update your wiring and have us create a new wiring system for you, check out our Wiring Harnesses.

Installation requires soldering and compatible system. We provide enough pickup lead wire to complete installation wiring in standard usage situations.
